We hung the Kiss
Bonn flag for the occasion.

They arrived ready for their big trip out west,
where they would head after their stay with us.

Followed by a mad dash up Broadway for a Musical,
with no time for taking photos.
Apres-theatre
Cafe Monaco, Amsterdam Avenue, Upper West Side

We headed home in the wee hours,
via Weehauken
 |
 |
The night was made even later by a subsequent "episode" on the Highway,
when we drove over nails and boards dropped by a truck
and had to change tires.
Fell into bed around 3:30 a.m.
The following day was a quiet one
with an evening at home: after a short nap,
Maike wrote post cards while Stefan cooked our dinner.

They took
a train to Philadelphia to spend
two days with Jon and Alisa, who took them to Atlantic City.
Everyone came back sick...
Something to do with riding roller coasters
after a seafood buffet!
Then back
to us, and a trip to the Jersey Shore, of course!

And off they went to Denver and points west....
